What should you expect?

What should you expect from your sponsor or upline?

1.  The right information - They should be knowledgeable about the program that they have sponsored you in to.  If they don't have all the answers they should know where to get the answers.

2.  The Tools and Support to help you grow your business. 

What should you NOT expect?

Do not expect to sit back and have your sponsor do all the work.  Spillover is great but for a company to grow it needs workers - You're work will pay off.  If you decide to do nothing then please don't blame anyone but yourself.

A New Year

No it is not New Years Day, it is my birthday.  It is when I reevaluate my decisions over the past year and set my path for the upcoming year.  Some bridges must be burnt unfortunately but new bridges are built in their place.  The past year has been a financial roller coaster ride for me but I have learned so much.  I have also seen relationships grow weaker or stronger and some end all together.  As it may seem cold there are times when you have to cut ties with people who bring you down.  If you have ever watched lobsters in a tank you will understand.  Jealousy, superiority, unhealthy competition, gossip, and rudeness are not something I care to deal with.  I go into this new year of my life with optimism, good wishes for all to succeed, and an open mind so that I can learn new things every day.  There will always be stumbling blocks along our paths but I have decided to not wait for the storms to pass, I will just dance in the rain.  Happy Birthday to me!

Setting up a Capture Page

Once you have decided what Auto-responder program to use you need to start a campaign and then create or import an email series and create a capture page. 

Capture pages can range from very plain with a few simple words to something very fancy including videos, etc.

Think about where you will advertise this page.  If you are paying for advertising and each view is a certain length of time be sure the reader can view your page in the time allotted.  In a typical traffic exchange you have 10 seconds or less to get your message across so keep it eye catching but quick to read.

Be sure you put an action in your capture page like click here or join here with an arrow showing them where to sign up for your list.  It may seem obvious to you but it doesn't hurt to emphasize the action needed.

If the leaders are telling you to do something it is because they have tried many ways and have made many mistakes so that you do not have to... stop reinventing the wheel or you may disqualify yourself from being successful.

Where should you advertise?

I would like to discuss traffic exchanges today.  I own one but I see their shortcomings.  The original idea behind a traffic exchange was to exchange views - I will look at your site if you look at mine. 

Unfortunately the traffic exchange industry has turned into a clicking society that only cares about getting people to join other traffic exchanges or earning a few pennies per day.

It is said that if someone sees a site enough times they will eventually click on it and maybe take action such as joining a site or filling in a capture form.  I believe that the site must appeal to them in some way, must draw their attention to it.  There are so many sites out there that I think it is good for your site to be unique, eye catching, and short and to the point.  A traffic exchange shows a page for a few seconds and then it is on to the next site.  You have a few seconds to have the view read what you have to say.  Keep it simple and easy to read.  You can go in to detail in your emails if you are using a capture page.  A splash or banner can direct the user to another page or the actual affiliate link.
Again, keep the splash or capture page simple and easy to ready, you only have a few seconds to grab that viewer!

has not been to Europe.

......Probably not!

Does that make sense? I hope it does.

So don't let the dream crushers and the people out there that
are speaking out of their,"you know what" ruin your dreams. (Even
the ones that love you.)

There are several good tools out there and occasionally I will talk about some of the tools that I use.

What kind of person are you?

Many people complain about a program not working.  If you are involved with a good company, it works.  The question is are you working?

People who:

... don't want to watch helpful videos...
... don't want to read  emails...
... don't want to attend  webinars...
... don't want to take the steps needed to succeed

they don't REALLY want a BUSINESS...   

they actually just want the LOTTO.. 

So will you buy a ticket and sit back and wait?  ...

I was told a story when I was very young but remember it and live by the lesson it taught still.

The story told of two groups of people sitting at a long dining table.  All the people had large spoons tied to their arms keeping them from being able to bend their elbows and feed themselves.  At one table the people ended up starving even though the table was full of wonderful food, because they only wanted to feed themselves and would not help anyone else.  At the other table each person fed the person across from them and all ate well.

The moral of the story?  If you help others succeed you will also succeed.  Help yourself by helping others.

Don't waste your energy on making excuses

Many people will spend hours, days, weeks, or even years making excuses for why they cannot do something.  If they spent 1 percent of that energy and put it toward finding a way to get something done they would be so much better off than they are now.

They don't have the time, the money, the knowledge........

Translated that all means they just don't want it bad enough.

You will never find the time to do anything - you must make the time.

You will never have extra spending money - there is no such thing, we always find something that needs to be paid for but if you want something bad enough you find the money to make it happen.

Knowledge is just taking the time and/or money to learn how to do something.

So stop the excuses and make it happen.
