Start a conversation!

I come across so many people who do not understand that in order to be successful you need to be personable.  Think of it this way.  If you went to buy a new car and the salesman never spoke a word to you but instead just shoved a sales contract at you would you buy a car from him?  Of course not.

Conversation is important.  Getting to know someone's interests, likes, and dislikes and sharing yours with them is an important part of relationship building.  You can advertise all day long and may even get many leads from that advertising, but if you are not willing to build a relationship you will have little or no conversions.  Without conversions you will not succeed.

Don't be afraid to give out your email address, your Skype contact info, or your phone number to someone who has shown interest in your ads.  Get them talking, see what they are looking for, and what they will do to get what they want.  Shoving a URL at them will only push them away usually.
Videos and pictures are great tools, but try a little real conversation.  You might be surprised at the outcome.
