Is there a risk?

With anything worthwhile there is always some risk.  With Karatbars the risk is there if you DON'T join.  While I was discussing this very thing in a Skype room today a great answer was given to What are the risks with Karatbars?  Here is the answer  .....

"I explain it especially to someone who has children or does not have a retirement account or enough to retire comfortably, which is most people.   Look at it this way, if you want to save for retirement, college, down payment on a house , etc., you can take $65 a week and put it into a savings account for 10 years, and you would have $38,800, right?    Then ask yourself with the economy going the way it is, how can you be so sure?  Will it still be worth what $38,800 is worth today?   That is why I have chosen Karatbars as my savings vehicle.  If I put $65 a week back into gold every week for 10 years, I have more faith that the gold will be worth at least what I paid for it and possibly much more since gold is the only currency that has held it's value  for 1000's of years.  The risk is not joining!"
